PREMIUM ORVIS SUPERFINE GLASS FLY RODS — MODERN S-2 FIBERGLASS SENSITIVITY

Welcome to the premium Orvis Superfine Glass Fly Rods destination at Casters Fly Shop. For the traditional angler who seeks the deep-bending, soulful rhythm of retro fiberglass blended with modern casting precision, the Superfine Glass series stands unchallenged. Handcrafted in Manchester, Vermont, by the same design team behind the award-winning Helios lines, this collection utilizes advanced material tapers to deliver old-school cool with a noticeably lighter swing weight and crisp, pinpoint accuracy.

UNPARALLELED FINESSE & SMOOTH SOULFUL RECOVERY TAPERS:
• Technical Small Stream Core (2-wt through 5-wt): Perfect for technical brook trout blue-lining, tight mountain canopy casting, and spring creek dry fly presentations. Features premium burled hardwood reel seat inserts and tight-loop control that loads effortlessly with minimal line out of the tip guide.
• Robust Big-Game Glass Backbones (6-wt and 8-wt): Take the soulful bend of glass to heavy warmwater and saltwater scenarios. Built with matte black anodized aluminum reel seats, these heavy-duty frames are engineered to comfortably throw foam bugs for bass, carp on the flats, or streamers in heavy currents.
• High-Performance S-2 Fiberglass Construction: Experience exceptional structural hoop strength and durability combined with a progressive full-flex action that dampens impact vibrations instantly, protecting fine 6X and 7X tippets during sudden subsurface headshakes.

PREMIUM RETRO CRAFTSMANSHIP & COMPONENT ACCOUTREMENTS:
Every Superfine Glass rod is beautifully appointed with heritage styling—featuring un-sanded matte olive blanks, elegant handwritten script labeling, hard chrome Litewire stripping guides, and double-foot snake guides built for seamless line shooting. Tailored with premium half-wells cork grips and packed in a protective nylon-covered rod tube with an internal cloth storage sack, this timeless series is a lifelong companion fully backed by the iconic Orvis 25-Year Guarantee.
