The Whip Finisher SO Nice, I Bought It Twice!

I have set up a second tying vise in my tying room. The original Daniel Wilmer whip finisher that I purchased 3 years ago has proved itself so well that I splurged and bought a second one to stay with the other vise. I STILL say this is the best whip finisher out there!

A Game Changer!

I have been tying since the 80's. In that time, I have had many different whip finishers in price ranges from $3 to $80. This is the only one that I can call a "Game Changer". Yes, it's perfectly finished and is not terribly exciting to look at. However, it gives the capability to catch the thread and "get in" to tight spaces between hook eye and material like no other whip finisher I have ever used! The "spring tension" seems to give better control with my shaky hands and has prevented any thread breaks even with 18/0 thread. You can use it like any other whip finisher and keep a bit of a distance from the hook eye or you can practically lay the whip finisher on the hook eye and just rotate for a whip finish. This was a great purchase for ME! Thanks to the designer for making it and thanks to Caster's for selling it!
