This is the first time I tied Muskie and Pike flies on this hook.. They are super sharp, love that wide gap and while it's a lite wire hook it takes all 20 lb of my toothy critter leaders.
This is my hook from now on for the big toothy fish.. -

I really like this hook as the lead on multi-section/articulated musky flies. It is light enough to not impact the overall action of the fly that can occur with too heavy of a hook. It is also sharp right out of the package. The only reason I gave it for 4 stars is because the wire is fairly light and would not likely hold up to freshwater heavy weights such as peacock bass or arapaima.
