The Orvis 4641 or Daiichi 1110 features an oversized eye to facilitate easy threading of tippet material, and has the dimensions of a modern dry fly hook, including a slightly wider gape than a Mustad 94840 standard dry fly hook. Daiichi 1110 Big Eye Hook in Straight-Eye Style is chemically sharpened— every hook is extremely sharp. Deep bronzing for exceptional rust resistance. 1 XWide, 1 XFine, Big Eye, perfect Bend. Size 22 Big Eye hooks have the same size eye as a conventional size 16 hook!
