Spirit River UV2 Schlappen Feathers – Strung Schlappen for Fly Tying
Add movement, bulk, and enhanced visibility to your streamer patterns with Spirit River UV2 Schlappen Feathers. These long, soft, webby rooster feathers are ideal for creating flowing collars, tails, and bodies on large freshwater and saltwater flies.
The webby fibers produce excellent movement in the water, giving streamer patterns a full, pulsating profile. Schlappen is especially useful for oversized Woolly Buggers, salmon and steelhead flies, spey patterns, tube flies, and saltwater streamers.
Treated with Spirit River's UV2 double-dye process, these feathers incorporate UV fluorescence and UV reflectance characteristics that add another dimension to your fly patterns.
