Rite Standard Fly Tying Bobbin- The Rite Standard bobbin is probably the most popular of all the models that Merco offers. It also has the most history. Ive personally used one for close to 20 years. It's the model that works for just about any fly pattern you may want to tie.
From small midges up through bigger saltwater flies, the Standard does it all. With a premium-quality ceramic tube, it's also going to be very durable. And of course, it wouldn't be a Rite Bobbin without the one-of-a-kind brass tension adjuster, allowing you to have more control as you tie. This is a must have for any serious tier.

Best bobbin ever.
I have only used rite bobbins for the last 5 years. I put away every other bobbin I had and can't think of using anything else. They work great on anything from midges-big streamers. Mine have held up really well and I hope to pick up a few more in the future.
