Constructed from machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, the Battenkill features a lightweight, ported spool and a standard-arbor design. Its four-position click-and-pawl system provides adjustable resistance and the familiar audible click that traditional reel enthusiasts appreciate.
The click-and-pawl mechanism is designed to work alongside your palm when fighting fish, allowing you to apply additional pressure when needed. The reel also features a curved reel foot to help prevent leader kinking and an ergonomic Delrin handle.
Available in three sizes to accommodate different fly rod weights, the Battenkill offers a classic reel experience for trout fishing and other freshwater applications.
