Kraft’s Kreelex is the legendary streamer pattern created by fly designer and guide Chuck Kraft. Simple, flashy and extremely effective, the Kreelex uses reflective Kreelex material to create the profile and movement of a small baitfish.
Weighted dumbbell eyes help the fly sink while producing a jigging action during the retrieve, and the highly reflective body flashes and moves as the fly swims through the water.
Originally developed as a highly effective streamer, the Kreelex has earned a reputation for catching far more than just trout. It is an excellent choice for trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, panfish and a variety of other predatory gamefish.
The Kreelex can be stripped, swung, jigged or dead-drifted, making it a remarkably versatile streamer in both rivers and stillwater.
