Hareline Ostrich Marabou is a soft, highly mobile fly tying feather with a wide range of uses at the vise.
The supple fibers move easily in the water, making Ostrich Marabou an excellent choice for tails, nymph bodies, composite loops, collars, gills and streamer applications. The feather can be wound around the hook shank, stripped for individual fibers, or incorporated into a dubbing or composite loop.
It is especially useful for adding natural movement and texture to nymphs, caddis patterns, shrimp flies, streamers and tube flies.
