Black Nosed Dace

Product Description

A versatile fly that mimics dace, smelt, and other lateral lined minnows that many fish prey on, including brook trout and landlocked salmon.

In 1947, Art Flick's Streamside Guide listed only one bucktail, the Black-Nose Dace. The fly resembles chubs, dace, and a host of small minnows that have the dark lateral line down their side that many fish love.
