Squirmito- The Original Squiggly Worm Material. Use this revolutinary material to tie worm and other patterns and you will catch fish. Catch just about any species you want with this soft, silicone rubber material. Ultra chenille and vernille work pretty well for San Juan worms, eggi juan kenobis, and green weenies but this squiggly worm works better. Twitch your rod tip and this stuff jiggles to no end and it will drive the fish absolutely bonkers. Tip: It is a very tough material as far as stretch, but dont use most glues or adhesives... it will melt the stuff. Use a 210 denier, flat thread for the best results. Thin threads tend to cut through the material when securing on the hook. Also, dont leave them in your vehicle or boat sitting in the hot sun (it'll melt). 10 strands per pack that are roughly 5" long.

Great product if you want to catch trout.

I have been tying worms with Squirmito for awhile and nothing is better. The movement in the water makes it hard for fish to resist. It comes in many colors, and have had great success. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

This is one of the better squirm worm materials to work with. It is very tough and comes in a perfect length.
This product should be illegal

If you haven't fished the Squirmy Worm you're either a purest or just haven't had the opportunity to catch nearly every fish in the stream. The material takes a few moments to get used to when tying but one quickly adapts and will soon be cranking out the flies. I'll never go back to the normal San Juan worm pattern. From small Cutties to brooding Steel this material should be a staple in everyone's fly box.
Very Effective Material

I tried this material for the first time in 2015, using the simple tying instructions found on your website, for some mid-summer native brook trout fishing in deeper pools and during storm runoff. The patterns were very effective.
This material works

I tried the Squirmito material in 2015, tying some squirmy worms following the simple directions provided on this website. Can attest these "nymphs" worked very well for native brook trout in PA. While I prefer fishing dry files for the brookies in mid-summer, for periods of higher runoff and the deeper holes, this pattern was very effective. While not extremely durable, the material is inexpensive and tying the squirmy worms is a snap. Expect to be using this material some more this spring.

Worms are not so soft, like pieces ordered 1 year ago. They have greater resilience than previous products :-(
Turned into something material or technology?
Still think this is the best color!

I have tied 100 S of worms with 3/0 thread and rarely cut the material and we are still hammering fish on them at Blackhawk!
Squirmy does it better!

Used this material to tie Squirmito flies. Easy to use and make good looking flies. Be careful not to bind down too hard on material or use very thin thread to avoid cutting material.
