One end of this fiber is curled to create more bulk without the weight. Does not absorb water. Hedron Big Fly Fiber is an excellent material for giant saltwater and pike/musky streamers, like the Larry Dahlberg original, the Mega-Diver. It is extremely light and easy-to-cast fiber. Contains approximately 6 grams of fibers, 10" in length.
